Manus Advanced Hand Solver

The MANUS Advanced Hand Solver takes the accurate finger tip position the MANUS Quantum Tracking sensors provide, and applies it to MANUS’ research-based biomechanical hand model to accurately recreate a digital hand skeleton.

With the MANUS Core software, integrations and plugins you can now use state-of-the-art digital hands in your own pipeline without compromise.

The Advanced Hand Solver and biomechanical model are part of MANUS Core, and are build upon years of research and development.

 

 

Wear it according to your needs.

The Quantum sensors can be worn on the fingertips in multiple ways. We give our users the possibility to choose the method that fits their use case best. Here are the three available options:

1. Finger Tape

The finger tapes can be wrapped around the finger tips. The Quantum sensors are attached on the mounting clips on top. The finger tape method provides extremely steady mounting of the Quantum sensors.

2. Finger Cap

The finger caps are worn by sliding them over your finger tips. The Quantum sensors are attached on the mounting clips on top. The finger cap method provides a quicker method to wear the Quantum sensors. The finger caps are available in three sizes.

3. Liner Glove

The liner gloves are gloves made from bamboo, which can be easily worn like regular gloves. The Quantum sensors are attached on the mounting clips on top of each fingertip of the glove. The liner glove method provides the quickest method to wear the Quantum sensors.

 

 

Compatible with industry standards

Real-time streaming with Manus Core

Our central software Manus Core is a data-handling tool developed to receive Manus glove data and SteamVR tracking data and output this optimally to your desired target. Using native or added plugins finger data will stream real-time to Unreal and Unity. Manus Core is included with our Quantum Metagloves.

 

SDK and recording finger data.

Our open SDK allows for building any other integration. The recording functionality allows you to record your session, edit them, and export them as FBX files. You will be able to make use of our timecode & genlock feature wile recording. On top of that we have the functionality to trigger your mocap session with the use of our ‘Motive 2.0 triggered recording’ function and ‘Vicon Shogun triggered recording’ function. These options allow external software to trigger our recording software and export the recorded data.
